Grand Marnier

Grand Marnier is the world’s most celebrated Cognac-based orange liqueur, created in 1880 by Louis-Alexandre Marnier Lapostolle. Unlike triple sec or generic orange liqueur — which use a neutral spirit base — Grand Marnier blends aged Cognac from Grande Champagne and Fine Champagne with the essence of bitter wild oranges from the Caribbean, producing a richer, more complex orange liqueur with dried fruit, oak, and vanilla from the Cognac base. The Cordon Rouge is the iconic original; the Cuvée Louis-Alexandre uses older eaux-de-vie; the prestige Cuvée du Centenaire uses Cognac aged 25 years.
