Gran Gala

Gran Gala is an Italian triple orange liqueur produced in Trieste by Stock Spirits — a brandy-based orange liqueur made from Italian VSOP brandy infused with Sicilian blood orange essence. At 40% ABV it is the same proof as Cointreau and stronger than most triple sec, and is positioned as a premium-tier Cointreau alternative for cocktail use at a lower price point.

Gran Gala's brandy base distinguishes it from most triple sec and orange liqueurs, which use neutral grain spirit. Italian brandy contributes a subtle warmth and grape-derived complexity beneath the orange flavor that neutral-spirit-based orange liqueurs cannot replicate. The Sicilian blood orange essence produces a richer, slightly more bitter citrus character than standard sweet orange varieties. In Margaritas, Sidecars, Cosmopolitans, and other cocktails that call for triple sec or Cointreau, Gran Gala functions as a richer, more complex substitute at a comparable or lower price per bottle.
