El Tequileño

El Tequileño is a family-owned distillery in the town of Tequila, Jalisco, founded in 1959 by Don Jorge Salles Cuervo, producing 100% Blue Weber agave tequila using mineral-rich volcanic spring water and traditional copper pot stills. The Reposado Rare (6 years in a large pipón barrel) and Gran Reserva Añejo are the prestige expressions; the Sassenach Select Double Wood Reposado is a collaboration aged in American and French oak.
