CHATEAU MUSAR

Château Musar is Lebanon’s most iconic winery, founded in 1930 in the Bekàa Valley by Gaston Hochar and carried through decades of civil war by Serge Hochar. The flagship red — a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsault, and Carignan — is aged 7 years before release and is among the most extraordinary and age-worthy red wines produced anywhere in the world. The white, from Obaideh and Merwah (indigenous Lebanese varieties), is equally distinctive.
