Chateau Montelena

Chateau Montelena is one of Napa Valley’s most historic wineries, founded in 1882 in Calistoga, and the estate whose 1973 Chardonnay won the white wine category at the 1976 Judgment of Paris — the competition that established California wine on the world stage. The flagship Napa Valley Chardonnay and Estate Cabernet Sauvignon (from the estate’s own Calistoga vineyards) remain among Napa Valley’s most acclaimed and age-worthy wines.
