Bulleit Bourbon & Rye – High-Rye Frontier Whiskey

Bulleit is defined by its unusually high rye content — 28% rye in the bourbon mashbill versus the industry standard of 12–15%. That higher rye percentage produces the spicy, dry, assertive character that has made Bulleit one of the most cocktail-forward bourbons in the market. Founded by Tom Bulleit in 1987 based on a family recipe going back to 1830, produced at the Bulleit Distilling Co. in Shelbyville, Kentucky.

Bulleit Bourbon — 90 proof, 28% rye. Dry, spicy, and structured with vanilla, dried fruit, and pepper. The benchmark for cocktail-forward bourbon. Bulleit Rye — 95% rye mashbill. Bold and assertive with minimal sweetness — the right choice for rye purists and classic rye cocktails. Bulleit 10 Year — Deeper vanilla, more oak, and additional complexity on the same high-rye base. Bulleit Barrel Strength — Uncut at approximately 120+ proof, preserving the high-rye spice at full barrel strength.
