Bowmore

Bowmore is Islay's oldest distillery, founded in 1779 in Bowmore village on the shores of Loch Indaal. Maintains its own traditional floor maltings and ages whisky in damp sea-level warehouses where the Atlantic climate influences the spirit. Bowmore produces a distinctly balanced Islay single malt — smoky and peated but not as aggressive as Ardbeg or Laphroaig, with significant fruit, honey, and sherry cask complexity. Core range: 12 Year through 25 Year, with the 15 Year Darkest (sherry cask), 18 Year, and 21 Year Aston Martin editions among the most celebrated.
