Barone Ricasoli

Barone Ricasoli is one of Italy’s oldest and most historically significant wine estates, based in the Brolio Castle in Chianti Classico — the ancestral home of Baron Bettino Ricasoli, who in 1872 defined the formula for Chianti wine (Sangiovese-based blend) that became the foundation of Italian wine law. The estate produces benchmark Chianti Classico Gran Selezione, Castello di Brolio, and Rocca Guicciarda expressions.
