Alexander Valley Vineyards is a family-owned winery in the Alexander Valley AVA of Sonoma County, founded in 1963 by Maggie and Harry Wetzel Sr. on land that belonged to Cyrus Alexander — the pioneering settler for whom the valley is named. The estate produces benchmark Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon alongside Chardonnay, Zinfandel, and Pinot Noir, with a legacy spanning over 60 years and four generations. Their Cyrus Cabernet is the flagship and among Sonoma's most celebrated expressions.
