UK-based WL Distillery has released a gin infused with watermelon, mint and liquorice.

Microdistillery WL Distillery has launched Wilson's Gin Club Watermelon and Liquorice, a 'refreshing' expression crafted using juniper and 'cool, refreshing flavours' of watermelon, mint, lime. The gin has been finished with a 'twist of liquorice'. Said to resemble an 'explosion of flavours and creations' from the distillery, the bottling is available for pre-order from today (7 June).

WL Distillery owner Scott Wilson-Laing said:“We are committed to ensuring a fresh and classic authentic gin experience for customers. Ingredients take centre stage here and we are keen to experiment with a range of flavours to create the ultimate taste sensation for our customers.

"This will now be our sixth flavour hitting the market. We are delighted with the response that our products have had across the UK and look forward to further developments in 2021.”

The 700ml expression can be purchased for an RRP of £37.99 (US$53.72) from wldistillery.com. The microdistillery was launched in County Durham in 2019, receiving support form the North East Business and Innovation Centre.
