Virtuous Vodka brand overhaul includes higher abv

by Amy Hopkins

Organic Swedish vodka brand Virtuous has increased its abv to 40% and will launch the new liquid within a revamped bottle design this spring.

Since it launched in 2013, Virtuous Vodka has been made from organic Swedish rye and bottled at 38% abv. The new abv is said to make the vodka an “even more versatile and adaptable” spirit. The new look was created by design agency Crossover Creative AB, and now features a shorter bottle with angular characteristics and a more prominent logo. Fabrice Limon, of Highball Brands, the UK distributor of Virtuous, said: “We were excited to receive the new bottle and branding; the stronger characteristics provide greater standout and visibility in the bar whilst still reflecting the personality of Virtuous.” Virtuous Vodka made its UK debut in March last year with a selection of four flavours: Blond, Bitter Lemon, Raspberry and Ginger.
