Ready-to-drink (RTD) cocktail shot Liqs is set to expand its footprint by launching in five additional US markets.Launched in 2014, the brand sold one million shots in its first four years – and has since doubled its volume sales to two million shots. Now, Liqs is preparing to launch in Arizona, Illinois, Missouri, Ohio and Wisconsin. Michael Glickman, who co-founded the brand with Harley Bauer, said: “We launched Liqs spirit-based shots five years ago and have experienced exponential growth. “We are seeing instant traction in these new markets as consumers are more open to RTDs than ever before.” Liqs comes in numerous flavours, including Vodka Lychee and Grapefruit, Tequila Cinnamon and Orange, and Whiskey Fireshot to name just a few. The flavours are now available in a bigger pack size, with four 50ml shots priced at RRP US$8.99 – an increase from the previous packs containing three shots. The plastic shot glasses are recyclable, reusable and BPA-free.
