Swedish vodka maker Purity has expanded its portfolio with the launch of three new gins and a lower-ABV flavoured 'vodka'.

The Swedish distiller has launched Nordic Dry Gin, Old Tom Gin and Navy Strength Gin, as well as lower-ABV Purity Spritz. Bottled at 43% ABV, Purity Nordic Dry Organic Gin is said to be a “celebration of juniper”. The new gin uses botanicals including juniper, coriander, lavender, cardamom, angelica root, basil, thyme, lingonberry and European blueberry. Purity Nordic Old Tom Organic Gin (43% ABV) adds organic sugar, resulting in a spirit that is described as being “slightly softer and sweeter”. The gin has flavours of juniper berries, basil and thyme alongside a "floral bouquet on the palate and the finish". With its Navy Strength release, Purity hoped to “update the classic recipe with better, bolder ingredients”. The resulting spirit is bottled at 57.1% ABV and uses botanicals such as juniper, Nordic berries, coriander, lavender, cardamom and angelica root. It is described as “striking, heady, flavourful and full-bodied”. Finally, Purity Spritz has been infused with natural orange, bergamot and grapefruit flavours. The 30% ABV liquid is made without the use of artificial flavours and is described as being “a full-bodied sweet citrus blend with the gentle spiciness of organic botanicals”. Purity Spritz has been made using sweet orange, bitter orange peel, grapefruit, bergamot, lemon, wormwood, centaury herb, tarragon, yarrow, cinchona and gentian root. Purity Nordic Dry Organic Gin and Purity Nordic Old Tom Organic Gin are both priced at €29.99 (US$33), Purity Nordic Navy Strength Organic Gin carries an RRP of €34.99 (US$38) and Purity Spritz is priced at €24.99 (US$27).
