New Yuletide Gin contains entire gingerbread house

by Amy Hopkins

That Boutique-y Gin Company is gearing up for Christmas with the launch of Yuletide Gin – containing distillates made from festive favourites such as chestnuts, mince pies and an entire gingerbread house.

The 46% abv gin’s botanical list also includes juniper, cassia, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and Christmas tree needles. Distillates made from Christmas cake, Christmas pudding, Lebkuchen, Panettone, and frankincense and myrrh also feature. Edible gold flakes have been added to Yuletide Gin after distillation, while a hand-illustrated label depicting an idyllic Christmas scene adorns its label. "We've created Yuletide Gin to be the perfect addition to your Christmas drinking occasions," said Adam Wyartt, That Boutique-y Gin Company’s global brand manager. "It’s packed with festive botanicals and distillates from our own grotto to celebrate the aromas and flavours of the season.” Yuletide Gin will be available from selected gin retailers at an RRP of £34.95 (US$46). The expression will also feature in That Boutique-y Gin Company’s Advent Calendar, which is priced £99.95 (US$130). That Boutique-y Gin Company, said to be the world’s first independent gin bottler, formed in February this year.
