Michael J. Dolan Named Interim CEO of Bacardi

Bacardi has named Michael J. Dolan the company’s interim CEO. Dolan has been on the board of directors since 2009. From the press release:

 

Hamilton, Bermuda, May 15, 2014 ˗˗ The Board of Directors of Bacardi
Limited, the largest privately held spirits company in the world, announced
today the appointment of Michael J. Dolan as Interim Chief Executive
Officer (CEO), effective immediately. Mr. Dolan has been a member of the
Board of Bacardi Limited since 2009.

Mr. Dolan most recently served as Chairman and CEO of IMG Worldwide, a
global leader in sports, fashion and media. Mr. Dolan joined IMG in 2010 as
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Previously, Mr. Dolan
was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Viacom, Inc.
and prior to that was Chairman and CEO of Young & Rubicam (Y&R), the global
marketing services company.

“We are fortunate to have Mike take on CEO duties as he has an exceptional
global business track record, understands powerful brands and knows our
Company very well as a result of his service on our Board,” said Facundo L.
Bacardi, Chairman.

Mr. Dolan’s principal office will be at the Company headquarters in
Hamilton, Bermuda, subject to Bermuda Department of Immigration approvals.
