Lind & Lime creates RTD Negroni

Edinburgh-based Lind & Lime Gin has released its first ready-to-drink (RTD) product in collaboration with Edinburgh bar Hey Palu: a White Strawberry Negroni.

The White Strawberry Negroni is the signature serve at Hey Palu, a modern Italian-inspired bar on Bread Street in Edinburgh. The cocktail combines Lind & Lime gin with strawberry vermouth and bianco bitter. The brand described its taste as 'sweet and bitter but, taking the same ethos as Lind & Lime, perfectly balanced'. Sam Travers, head of spirit at Lind & Lime, said: “Negroni Month is always a highlight for us and, this year, we wanted to do something truly special. Working in collaboration with another Edinburgh institution, we’ve created a Negroni that’s as vibrant and dynamic as the city itself. “The White Strawberry Negroni isn’t just a seasonal treat; it’s a cocktail that’s perfect for any time of year.” Presented in Lind & Lime’s award-winning wine-shaped bottle, the White Strawberry Negroni retails for £29.50 (US$39) from The Leith Export Co and Hey Palu directly, as well as various bottle shops in Scotland. It is recommended to be served over ice and garnished with a fresh slice of strawberry. Alex Palumbo, co-owner of Hey Palu, added: “It’s great to collaborate with Lind & Lime gin on this project. The idea that people can enjoy one of Hey Palu’s signature drinks at home is amazing. Just pop the cap and pour it over ice.” Lind & Lime Gin made its debut in 2018, a joint project from childhood friends Ian Stirling and Paddy Fletcher, who also opened a distillery in Edinburgh’s Port of Leith in May 2022. There was controversy earlier this year when Sterling claimed Brewdog's Casa Rayos Tequila bottle was close in appearance to Lind & Lime's.
