Lakes Distillery launches Rhubarb and Rosehip Liqueur

Cumbria-based Lakes Distillery has expanded its liqueur portfolio with the release of Rhubarb and Rosehip Gin Liqueur.

The new release from the distillery sees its signature Lakes Gin infused with rhubarb and rosehip, producing a “a warming and sweet infusion that complements the fruity characteristic of the juniper-led classic gin”. The Lakes Distillery launched its range of liqueurs last summer, with the latest release following the design of other bottlings in the range, including Lakes Elderflower Gin Liqueur, Salted Caramel Vodka Liqueur and The Lakes Espresso Vodka Liqueur. Since its launch last year, the liqueurs range has witnessed "huge success", which led the distillery to expand its offering with the new expression. Bottled at 25% abv, The Lakes Rhubarb and Rosehip Gin Liqueur is available for pre-order in 20cl and 70cl bottles for £15 (US£21) and £27.95 (US$39) respectively. Chairman and co-founder of The Lakes Distillery, Nigel John Mills, was recognised in the Queen’s 2018 New Year’s Honours List and was appointed a commander of the most excellent order of the British Empire.
