Indri Diwali Collector’s Edition 2025 heads to UK

Indian single malt Indri has released its Diwali Collector's Edition 2025 Marsala Cask whisky in the UK.

The whisky is made in Indri, Haryana, near the foothills of the Himalayas. The 2025 limited edition whisky was created by master blender Surrinder Kumar. Made in small batches from indigenous six-row Indian barley, the 2025 whisky was aged in hand-selected Marsala wine casks from Sicilian wineries. Clocking in at 58.5% ABV, the aroma is said to emulate stewed apricots, cherries and plums, leading to nutty spice, vanilla and caramel. The palate is described as full-bodied and expressive, with red berries, chocolate, nutmeg and walnuts, leading to a fruity, long finish. Kumar said: "The Diwali Collector's Edition represents the pinnacle of our craft at Indri, where each release is designed to push the boundaries of Indian single malt while staying rooted in tradition. "The 2025 Marsala Cask release brings together the richness of carefully selected wine casks with the distinctive character shaped by Indri's unique climate. "Every edition is created in limited quantities with a singular identity, making the Diwali Collector's Edition a unique expression of innovation, craftsmanship and the evolving story of Indian single malt." Limited to 180 individually numbered bottles in the UK, the whisky is available from select retailers including The Whisky Exchange and Master of Malt for RRP £250 (US$333).
