Ian Macleod revamps Pig’s Nose and Sheep Dip

by Annie Hayes

Scotch whisky producer Ian Macleod Distillers has unveiled new label and carton designs for its premium blended whiskies, Pig’s Nose and Sheep Dip, to "cement the brands’ craft credentials".

By highlighting "the story and quality" of each spirit, Ian Macleod aims to bolster the brands' growth and shelf presence in domestic and international markets, which include Russia, Germany, Italy, France and the US. Created by London-based Stranger and Stranger, the new Pig’s Nose design features an illustration of the spirit’s namesake, and a nod to the Invergordon grain whisky featured in the liquid. Sheep Dip, a small batch blend of 16 single malts, boasts "an iconic carton that balances quality with whimsy". Neil Boyd, commercial director for Ian Macleod Distiller, said: "We are delighted to reveal the new packaging designs for our blended whiskies, Pig’s Nose and Sheep Dip. "The refresh celebrates the growing global momentum for both brands and our continued commitment to premium, small batch spirit for the modern Scotch whisky drinker. "We look forward to rolling out the new designs with immediate effect in all territories and beginning an exciting next chapter for these two iconic brands." Sheep Dip retails at an RRP of £32.99, while Pig’s Nose has an RRP £23.99. Both whiskies are available in Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Russia, Switzerland, USA and UK
