High Commissioner promotes heritage with limited edition

Loch Lomond Group's High Commissioner blended Scotch whisky has launched a limited-edition bottle design that highlights its 160-year history.

The new label features a burgundy colour palette and also showcases the year and location in which High Commissioner was founded. The brand was founded in 1856 by the Bulloch family. “High Commissioner has been the original blend since 1856 and the Heritage Edition is a celebration of over 160 years of dedication and craftsmanship,” commented Scott Dickson, marketing manager at brand owner Loch Lomond Group. “To this day, this premium blended Scotch whisky is crafted to perfection from an original Bulloch family recipe.” High Commissioner Heritage Edition is priced £13.99 (US$18.52) – 100,000 bottles will be released in the UK from this month. Last month, Loch Lomond Group unveiled its “oldest and rarest” expression to date – a 50-year-old single malt, priced at £12,000 (about US$15,500)
