Gordon’s has joined the pink gin trend with the launch of a bottling inspired by the brand’s recipe from the 1800s, containing flavours of raspberry, strawberry and redcurrant.Gordon’s Premium Pink Distilled Gin is said to have a “subtler touch" of juniper and is made “using only natural fruit flavours”. “As Britain’s favourite gin we are excited to launch this delicious new pink gin, inspired by the Spanish gin trend, which is to take the UK by storm,” said Annalisa Tedeschi, head of Gordon’s at Diageo. Gordon’s Pink is bottled at 37.5% abv and is now launching exclusively at Tesco stores across the UK at an RRP of £16.50. It will be available in UK bars from August. In August last year, Gordon’s revealed a revamped bottle design for its core expression to reflect the “quality and heritage” of the brand. The Diageo-owned gin has also increased its flavoured offering in recent years, with the launch of Gordon’s Crisp Cucumber in 2013 and Gordon’s Elderflower in 2014.
