Ian Macleod Distillers has launched a grocery-exclusive Glengoyne single malt called Signature.

Created for the global grocery sector, Glengoyne Signature makes its UK debut in Tesco stores and online on 20 April 2026 for a three-month exclusive period. Signature is described as a flavour-forward, non-age-statement single malt designed for consumers seeking an approachable flavour profile at an affordable price. Bottled at 40% ABV, the expression offers fruity, fresh notes of crisp apple, vanilla, pears and plums. The Highland single malt can be used as a base for cocktails such as a Highball or an Old Fashioned. Caroline Fox, UK commercial director at Ian Macleod Distillers, said: "We have crafted Signature to open up Glengoyne to more shoppers in grocery stores, as an excellent showcase for the fruity style for which the brand is known." Signature is packaged in an eco-friendly carton made from 100% recyclable materials and features a bright gradient green label that distinguishes it from the brand's other bottlings. According to Nielsen data from December 2025, Glengoyne is the fastest-growing single malt brand in the UK off-trade, reportedly outperforming 34 other leading brands with sales exceeding £1 million (US$1.34m). Glengoyne Signature has a recommended retail price of £35 (US$47) for a 700ml bottle. Tesco Clubcard members in Scotland can buy the bottle for £24 (US$32) from 21 April to 15 June. Last year, Ian Macleod Distillers introduced a new design for its Glengoyne 18- and 21-year-old single malts.
