Ex-Casamigos CEO creates Por Qué No RTDs
Beverage Management Group, led by former Casamigos Tequila CEO Lee Einsidler, has launched a ready-to-drink (RTD) brand called Por Qué No.
The new lightly sparkling RTD cocktails blend vodka and Tequila with 'natural' flavours in two variants: Mango Guava and Watermelon Pineapple Chilli Lime. Each 350ml can contains 4.5% ABV and 100 calories, with no added sugar and zero gluten. Por Qué No was created by the group's team, including Lee and Jeff Einsidler, Olivier Bugat, Mat Jaronko, and Sandra Falconer. The company has previously looked after brands such as Diageo-owned Casamigos Tequila, Bacardi's Grey Goose vodka and Jägermeister. Lee, co-founder of Por Qué No, commented: “There is something truly special about what our team created here. I’ve been fortunate to launch some amazing brands in my life, and Por Qué No is no exception." The canned cocktails will be available in northeast US this spring, distributed by Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits (SGWS) and independent distributor partners, before a nationwide rollout later this year. "It’s even more exciting to be partnering with SGWS and our extended distributor family again to introduce Por Qué No across the country," Lee added. Por Qué No RTDs come in packs of four with a suggested retail price of US$12.99. Casamigos, on the other hand, ventured into the RTD space last year by launching Margarita cans, followed by two pre-mixed cocktails this year in anticipation of the Fifa World Cup 2026.
