Dutch producer De Kuyper Royal Distillers debuted a range of non-alcoholic cocktails, called Batched 0.0%, at ProWein 2025.

Unveiled at ProWein this week (16-18 March), the new premium alcohol-free line aims to 'revolutionise the rapidly growing alcohol-free beverage sector'. Visitors to Hall 5, stand K17, were among the first to experience the alcohol-free creations ahead of the official European launch, which is set to take place in June 2025. Batched 0.0% features three classic serve flavours – Pornstar Martini, Mojito, and Strawberry Daiquiri – which the brand promises deliver the same taste experience as their alcoholic counterparts. The launch is set to address demand for premium non-alcoholic options, with the no-alcohol segment projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 7% by 2027, according to IWSR data. At ProWein, De Kuyper also unveiled Peachtree Batched Sex On The Beach 0.0%, which will debut in the Netherlands in May 2025. The alcoholic versions of Peachtree Batched and Draught Sex On the Beach, which have already launched in the Netherlands, are also planned to roll out to markets including Germany. Godelief van Erve, global marketing director at De Kuyper, said: “Sex on the Beach is the number four cocktail of the global top 10 cocktails consumed in on-trade establishments. "Among Gen Z consumers, it ranks even higher, as the third most popular cocktail worldwide served at on-trade venues. And as Peachtree remains the most widely used peach liqueur for this iconic cocktail, it was obvious for us to support outlets to conveniently serve this famous drink in the best possible quality." A one-litre bottle of De Kuyper Batched contains either eight 125ml cocktails to shake or 10 100ml cocktails to top up with sparkling water. In October 2024, De Kuyper extended its Batched range with Cosmopolitan, Strawberry Daiquiri and Clover Club expressions. The Spirits Business spoke to new CEO Leo Evers to get the latest updates on the company’s plans. In the past six months, De Kuyper has updated branding for its Cherry Heering and Archers liqueurs.
