Rapper Cardi B’s vodka-infused Whipshots has released its first limited edition flavour – peppermint.Whipshots Peppermint follows the brand’s core range: vanilla, mocha, and caramel. Whipshots was created as a collaboration between Wap artist Cardi B and brand consultancy firm Starco Brands. It first came to market in December 2021. David Dreyer, CMO of Starco Brands, commented: “With the holidays right around the corner, we are thrilled to release the new peppermint flavour just in time for consumers to enjoy with their family and friends. “As the demand for Whipshots has exceeded all expectations, we look forward to new flavour innovation throughout the year that will continue to disrupt the spirits industry one whip at a time.” Like the rest of the range, Whipshots Peppermint sits at 10% ABV. The alcoholic whipped cream is available in three sizes, 50ml (US$5.99), 200ml (US$13.99) and 375ml (US$19). In October, Whipshots revealed it had sold one million cans in under a year. The brand said it sold out in seconds through its limited release programme, Whip Drop, and first appeared on US retail shelves in February this year through Republic National Distributing Company. Earlier this month, Whipshots was recognised in The Spirits Business Awards 2022. At the beginning of this year, Whipshots unveiled a branded game to mark Valentine’s Day.
