Diageo has tweaked the bottle design of its Captain Morgan rum to create a “more modern brand visual identity”.The design features new embossing to highlight the Captain Morgan logo, an updated cap canvas, a cigar band, and gold foil detailing across the label to enhance the bottle’s premium look. The image of the Captain Morgan character has also been updated by adding the brand name to the barrel on which he stands. The new design will be rolled out across all Captain Morgan products in all sizes. It will launch in the US from this month. Earlier this year, Captain Morgan launched a new global marketing campaign featuring retired Manchester United and England footballer Rio Ferdinand.
