Camus extends Borderies range with XO Family Reserve
Cognac house Camus is set to unveil its new single-estate expression – Camus XO Borderies Family Reserve – at the TFWA World Exhibition & Conference in Cannes next month.
In line with the rest of Camus’ Borderies offering, Family Reserve is created exclusively using grapes grown on one single Borderies vineyard belonging to the Camus family. Camus will showcase the new addition to its range in Cannes, where it will be based at stand 11 in the Blue Village at the Palais des Festivals. The product will be available in the first quarter of next year across Europe and global travel retail. It will then roll out globally in the second quarter of 2018. Bottled at 40% abv, Camus XO Borderies Family Reserve is priced US$250 for a one-litre bottle, and US$180 for a 70cl bottle. A new batch of the individually-numbered expressions will launch annually, while the number of units will vary from year to year. While known for its Cognac, Camus entered the Irish whiskey category earlier this year with the creation of Lambay Island Whiskey Company, which was launched in collaboration with Baring family-owned Revelstoke Trust.
