Bruni debuts spirits-focused Sublime series

Italian packaging manufacturer Bruni Glass is targeting premium-and-above spirits with its new Sublime collection.

Bruni Glass, part of the Berlin Packaging Group, launched the Sublime collection to meet the growing demand for “elegant” packaging suitable for ultra-premium spirits. Alessandro Tonoli, chief sales officer, Berlin Packaging Europe, said: “Sublime is, in fact, the result of a study and survey of the flourishing premium spirits market. According to the recent IWSR Global Trends Report 2020 data, they are destined to increase the volume share to 40% by the end of 2024. “We too are seeing an increase in the packaging demand for deluxe, refined, elegant and ultra-premium liquors. Our Italian and international customers are increasingly more interested in productions that enhance excellence, even for rare, elite years.” The Sublime collection is split into three tiers, Premium, Super Premium and Prestige, which each comprises five bottle designs. The Premium line is designed around bartender needs, with vermouth and amaros in mind. The Super Premium collection features five bottles with a functional design that balances “tradition and innovation”. Finally, the ultra-premium Prestige range has a “sophisticated design” created for spirits such as whisky, brandy and Cognac. The Sublime collection was designed at the Bruni Glass Innovation Center in Milan, Italy. “Create, innovate, astonish; that is our vocation,” said Paolo Recrosio, CEO of Berlin Packaging Europe. “Having the Innovation Center makes our offer unique. It enables our company to create highly innovative products with high quality and aesthetic results; creating packaging that can transmit a significant additional value to the product, thanks to an exclusive, personalised design.”
