Brand Venture takes on Blessed Zest
The strategic brand accelerator behind Dr Yanni’s Magic Foamer, Brand Venture, has introduced a fresh lemon and lime juice alternative concentrate called Blessed Zest.
Described as a 'game-changing citrus solution for bars', Blessed Zest was created specifically for cocktails, providing consistent acidity, vibrant citrus brightness, and long-lasting stability, eliminating the need for daily fruit pressing behind the bar. The product was developed in collaboration with industry innovator Samir Loza and former ODB Beverages distiller Simon Elings. By combining their expertise in distillation and product development, the duo aimed to offer bartenders a dependable, sustainable alternative to fresh citrus while minimising waste and operational complexity. Loza commented: “Blessed Zest is a simple but powerful solution for consistency behind the bar. Wherever you are in the world, you can rely on the same quality and balance in every cocktail – and that’s a game changer.” The packaging for Blessed Zest was developed by art director Leila Amin. As part of its portfolio expansion strategy, Brand Venture will play a key role in building and scaling Blessed Zest by overseeing brand strategy, operations, and logistics. Jan Bernd Koster, partner at Brand Venture, said: “With Blessed Zest, we’re continuing to expand a portfolio of brands that bring real, practical value to the bar industry. "Our role is to handle the operational backbone, so founders like Samir and Simon can focus on creating the next generation of standout products.” Last year, Brand Venture partnered with EMZ Drinks and Simba Invest to introduce Dr Yanni’s Magic Foamer to the Czech Republic and Romania.
