Canned cocktail manufacturer Blue Marble has launched its range of 12 ready-to-drink (RTD) cocktails in the US.

The Indianapolis-based drinks manufacturer has launched 12 canned cocktails, including a Moscow Mule, Bloody Mary, Cosmo and Mojito, aimed at airlines, hotels and casinos. The family-owned business produces its RTD cocktails using only natural colours and flavourings, and hopes to bring convenience and simplicity to "cocktail seekers, and makers, who want an all-natural and ultra-premium beverage wherever they are". Blue Marble has launched its range in 200ml cans and five gallon kegs, making the cocktails a "perfect addition for concession stands at concerts, athletic events, tailgates, or a get-together." The range includes the Cinnamon Toast, made with cinnamon whiskey, barrel-aged rum and vanilla, described as a "silky-smooth cocktail" which is "like dessert in a glass"; and the Coconut Island, which combines barrel-aged rum with coconut water, lime juice and pineapple juice, to create a low-calorie alternative to the classic Piña Colada. Blue Marble hope to support global awareness about conservation with its products and its Keep the Blue Marble Blue programme uses recyclable cans for production and cuts out excess packaging. Fruit purée and syrup manufacturer Funkin recently launched its own range of pre-made cocktails targeted at the on-trade.
