Belvedere Vodka has launched the limited edition (Belvedere)RED bottle, with profits going to an international charity that helps combat HIV and Aids in Africa.

This is the sixth time that Belvedere has released limited edition vodkas to support (RED), which partners with global brands to raise money for the fight against Aids. This year, profits from sales of the limited edition bottle will support The Global Fund, which works to end the HIV/Aids epidemic. So far, sales of (Belvedere)RED have raised enough money to give treatment to almost 40,000 woman in Africa with HIV, which helps stop the virus being transmitted to their babies. This year's launch gives Belvedere's "iconic bottle" a "sleek red colour" and "pearl-matte finish". President of Belvedere Vodka, Rodney Williams, said: "Belvedere Vodka has launched (Belvedere)RED with profits going to The Global Fund, which helps combat the spread of HIV/AIDS in Africa." Deborah Dugan, CEO of (RED), added that the partnership with Belvedere "drives real impact where it is needed most, enabling mothers and their children to live healthy, productive lives". She added: "We couldn’t be more grateful for the money and heat Belvedere brings to this critical global issue." (Belvedere)RED will be available in 70cl, 75cl, 1L and 1.5L bottles at selected retailers around the globe this autumn at an RRP of £38 (US$50),
