Beach Bum rum enters new markets

Beach Bum Beverages has released its namesake Mauritian rums in Latvia, Romania and the US, and will soon launch in Taiwan.

The Beach Bum rum range comprises the 40% ABV Beach Bum Rum Gold and Beach Bum Rum Silver. The rums were developed by Scottish entrepreneur David Adamson, who visited Mauritius on a trip in 2016. He sought to create rums infused with the spirit and flavour of the island. Beach Bum Beverages will now launch its duo of Mauritian rums in the off-trade and e-commerce across Latvia through importer Berlat Trading. In Romania, Beach Bum Beverages has partnered with Finestore to distribute its range in all channels, while the products will be marketed in the US by Hammer and Sickle Vodka owner Klin Group. Beach Bum Rum Gold and Silver will also debut in Taiwan from April through distributor Somm Spirit’d. As part of the brand’s launch in Taiwan, the spirits will feature in the Pop Cocktail Competition, hosted by Somm Spirit’d. The contest challenges bartenders in Taiwan to create an innovative serve using spirits such as Beach Bum rum. The winning bartender will be named Champagne Pommery Pop brand ambassador.
