Alacrán Tequila launches reposado expression

Independent Tequila brand Alacrán Tequila has added a reposado expression to its product range.

Alacrán Reposado is made from 100% blue Weber agave, harvested in the Jalisco highlands. Matured for four months in American oak barrels, the ultra-premium expression is said to offer notes of caramel, oak and vanilla. The Tequila is presented in a sleek, clear glass bottle to show its “bright golden” hue. Recommended as a sipping Tequila or for use in cocktails, Alacrán Reposado is bottled at 35% abv and retails at $49.99 for a 750cl format. Alacrán Tequila was founded in Mexico City in 2010 and entered the US market in 2011. Its products include Alacrán Blanco and Mescal Alacrán. The product portfolio is now available in restaurants, hotels, bars and lounges around the world.
