A Hardy USA launches Legend 1863 Cognac

A Hardy USA has expanded its portfolio with the launch of New Legend 1863, which has been aged for up to 12 years in toasted Limousin oak barrels.

The new expression is bottled at 40% abv and has an RRP of US$59.95 per 750ml. It is available now throughout the US. Hardy New Legend 1863 is made from a selection of eaux-de-vies from the Petite Champagne region of Cognac, blended with a few borderies eaux-de-vies. The Cognac is described as having aromas of dates and rose petals, with a cappuccino-like flavour on the palate. Mark Levinson, A Hardy USA president, said: “This is undoubtedly the most important introduction of a new product to the A Hardy line in years. “Our wholesale and retail partners were eager to assist with the introduction of Legend 1863 and are promoting it with genuine enthusiasm.”
