This Irish-American whiskey is a blend of mostly 4-6-year-old spirits that were aged in a combination of ex-bourbon, sherry, and port casks. It has won a Gold Medal at the 2020 edition of the New York International Spirits Competition.

I was at an expensive restaurant in Virginia and searching for a new top shelf beverage to sample. I noticed this bottle of Fighting 69th sitting next to a bottle of Johnny Walker Blue, so I wrongfully surmised it to be an expensive brand. After sampling the whiskey I was hooked, and best of all is the price. This is smooth, and I mean smooooooth! Wow, try this and you will be hooked for life. Best whiskey I have ever drank thus far at any price point.
