Description

Straight from the sun-drenched shores of the Mediterranean. This wine is soft, and light pink in color. Beautiful floral and berry aromas awaken your senses with freshly picked summer peaches and strawberry cream dancing around your palate. This is the wine that patio and poolside sipping were made for!Color: Very light pink, like the sun's reflection on water.Nose: Amazing aromatics that are very inviting. Dominant orchard fruits like peaches, peach ring candies and a sweet fruit salad. A very beautiful, floral and intense nose that jumps out from the glass.Taste: The freshness, the fruitiness of this wine hits you at the front of your tongue. Freshly picked and chopped fruit, very ripe peach and strawberry flavors. A great texture, almost silkiness to the wine.Pairings: A perfect cocktail rose9 -it doesn't need food to lift the flavors, it does a fantastic job of that all on its own. Would pair well with spicy food, like Szechuan chicken or Mexican dishes with a little heat.

Producer Description

Winemaking has been a way of life at Che2teau de Berne since 1750. Today nearly 200 of the estate's 1,480 sunny acres are devoted to vineyards. Every wine is a subtle mix of nature's influence and the winemaker's expertise, and at Che2teau de Berne we have struck a perfect balance between the two, producing wines that earn world acclaim.Che2teau de Berne luxury wine estate produces some of the region's most acclaimed red, rose9 and white Cf4tes de Provence wines. Discover the secrets of wine making with a cellar tour and guided tasting session. We offer a variety of wine discovery packages.200 BC: Che2teau de Berne is set on the Via Aurelia Roman Road that formerly linked Italy and Spain. It was inhabited by the Ancient Greeks, then the Romans.11th century: Cistercian Order. Raymond V, the Count of Toulouse, donated the estate to Saint Bernard. The monks took up home here and set about nurturing this rich soil.18th century: The Rebirth of Che2teau de Berne. The estate underwent a facelift in the mid-18th century, when the Estellon family rebuilt its living quarters, planted new plots and, above all, decided to breathe life back into the Che2teau by turning it into a hub of hospitality and festivities.20th century: The estate was restored in 1960 by a Parisian publicist by the name of Madame Smeets. Thanks to her faultless taste, the Che2teau's resurrection was a genuine little miracle. In 1985, Berne was bought up by the British-born Bill Muddyman, who replanted 79 acres of vines, modernized the wine-making facilities and rebuilt the cellars.21st century: A British businessman and fervent lover of Provence bought up Che2teau de Berne in 2007, keen to hoist its wines to the heights of excellence and develop a genuinely original wine tourism concept.c
