Good aroma, strong milky louche, good color, small but visible particulate suspended in it.... it it had tastd as well as the other qualities it would have received 4 stars easy from me.
But... the taste is horrible.
Tried this with several other drinkers of Absinthe and all agreed that there was a strong taste that lingers long and is very unpleasant. The taste is most likely something used in the final coloration step. Once onntue taste budsnit invades the nose and lingers. Some absinthe drinkers may like the taste but nobody I have offerd it to has liked it so far.
All people tasting described it as either some type of over ripened cooked fruit pit taste, fermented weed taste or, as one person put it, "As if a cowboy pulled a peach pit out of a grass fed cow's colon, lightly toasred it over his campfire and shook it around in the bottle for a while to add rodeo aroma flavor to it".
