In addition to its column still, the distillery is equipped with a copper pot still system for crafting small-batch and limited edition spirits. Southern Star takes pride in its commitment to working with local farmers, supporting the agricultural community, and producing a wide range of exceptional spirits, including bourbon, rye whiskey, brandies, and more. Each product is meticulously crafted and passes through an exclusive custom-designed "Double Barrel" spirit safe before being hand-bottled onsite. Conveniently located near several wineries in the Yadkin Valley and Swan Creek areas, this distillery is easily accessible from major cities like Greensboro, Winston-Salem, Charlotte, Asheville, and the Virginia state line.
