Description

The Prosecco Treviso Lampo Brut displays ripe apple with hints of sage and white smoke. It's round and textural, balancing its sweet orchard fruits and inner florals with bright, mouthwatering acidity. This tapers off clean with a final thrust of refreshing minerality.

Producer Description

Ninni and Caterina di Collalto, together with their mother Trinidad and Caterina's husband Lodovico Giustiniani, welcome you to their historical estate, situated between Venice and the Dolomites.1,000 hectares of woodlands, pastures, vineyards and grain fields, in Susegana, province of Treviso, in the heart of Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore D.O.C.G. wine country: a farm that tends to this land to produce wholesome products and clean energy, in synergy with the environment. A place to stay, for a long holiday or a short break, a world of landscapes, culture, flavours and sports, all waiting to be enjoyed.Pastures, woodlands, farms, arable fields, vineyards, orchards, canals, mills, and cheese-making units. In ancient times, this variety allowed the estate to produce everything it needed for day-to-day life. Now called biodiversity, this tradition continues today as the most natural way to ensure the soil stays rich and fertile, protecting the life of every species in the ecosystem. On the Borgoluce estate today, the landscape includes the vineyards that produce Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG, Pinot Grigio, Manzoni Bianco, Chardonnay, Merlot, and Cabernet, fields of crops such as corn, barley, common wheat, soya, sorghum and ryegrass, herds of Limousine and Charolaise cattle, Duroc pigs, milk buffalo, horses and Alpagota sheep and then meadows, pastures, woodland and olive groves. And, obviously, there is also our winery, restaurants, guesthouse, and teaching rooms. This is what coexisting with nature means to us, every day.It is said that when you love someone, you should never seek to change that person. We believe that too. That's why we do everything possible to defend our area and its essence. The energy we use comes from the by-products of our woodlands, animal farms and plantations. Wood is burned by a biomass boiler, while a biodigester transforms animal dung and cereal silage into biogas, which produces the electric energy we use and the thermal energy that heats the buffalo sheds; the very ones from which this energy derives. Even the swimming pool of our agritourism is biological, as we have replaced the chlorine and other chemical products with plants, according to the principles of phytopurification. Eco-sustainability is a word with many meanings: attention, care, respect for natural resources. We, at Borgoluce, prefer to think of it as an asset. An asset for our land, which we respect and enhance every day. An asset for ou clients, who can be guaranteed they are choosing healthy, traceable and tasty produce. Above all, an asset for future generations, whom we teach to know and love the countryside, and to whom we hope to pass on, one day, a better place to live in.
