Powers Irish Three Swallow Whiskey is a contemporary rendition of the classic "Pure Pot Still Whiskey" that cemented Powers' reputation as one of the top-selling Irish whiskeys in the world. The name "Three Swallow" harks back to the Power family's tradition of preparing a small flask of whiskey for their coachmen, just enough for each to take a swallow before a long journey. This modern Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey is crafted from a blend of malted and unmalted barley, triple distilled in traditional copper pot stills. It is matured for five to seven years in 2nd and 3rd fill American oak casks, with a small portion aged in Oloroso sherry butts, creating a full-bodied spirit with layers of honeyed spice, fruit, and citrus.
