High West Rendezvous Rye — a blend of two straight rye whiskeys from Utah's first legally operating distillery since Prohibition, combining a high-rye mashbill expression with older pot-still rye to produce the layered complexity that neither component achieves alone.

High West Distillery was founded in Park City, Utah in 2006 by David Perkins. Rendezvous Rye is the distillery's flagship expression, built on the same two-rye blending philosophy as Double Rye! but with a higher proportion of older, more complex rye driving the profile. Where Double Rye! skews bold and botanical, Rendezvous Rye is more fruit-forward and structured — orange peel, dried apricot, and caramelized sugar anchored by ginger, cinnamon, and toasted oak.

The result is a rye that rewards both neat sipping and elevated cocktail use — complex enough to appreciate on its own, structured enough to anchor a Rye Manhattan or a high-end Sazerac.
