Caisteal Chamuis Blended Malt Scotch Whisky Finished In First Fill Bourbon Barrels is a remarkable whisky crafted by Mossburn Distillers. This blend starts its journey with individual malts aged in both refill and first-fill American Oak Hogsheads. After this initial aging, the malts are artfully blended and undergo a second period of maturation and flavor integration. This stage occurs in smaller 200-liter fresh Bourbon Barrels, contributing to the whisky's complexity and character. The result is a whisky that maintains its original peaty aromas while gaining additional layers of fragrant smoky oak, a touch of sweetness, and heightened vanilla overtones on the palate.
