Dill Pickle is the first flavour Chicago-based brand Zing Zang has launched for its Bloody Mary mixer range.

The release marks the US brand’s first flavoured variant in its Bloody Mary mixer line, which also includes the original Bloody Mary mixer and a hotter version made with a spice blend. The decision to release a dill pickle flavour is in line with current consumer excitement for pickles and pickle-flavoured food and drink, the brand said. “We know many people love adding pickle juice to their Bloody Marys, so we made it even easier with Zing Zang Dill Pickle Bloody Mary Mix,” said E.G. Fishburne, the brand’s vice-president of marketing. “If you like Bloody Marys and you like pickles, you’re gonna love this. It tastes so good, the vodka is optional.” The mixer follows the original recipe of seven real vegetable juices, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, and a blend of spices and seasonings, with the addition of pickle brine. Its launch will be promoted at the upcoming US Open Pickleball Championships in Naples, Florida, held between 26 April and 3 May. Fishburne added: “Zing Zang was the first sponsor of the US Open back in 2016, and we’re more excited than ever to bring our Bloodys with a big punch of pickle to pickleball's legendary Zing Zang Championship Court.” Zing Zang Dill Pickle Bloody Mary Mix is available nationwide in the US at grocery retailers, wine and spirits stores, and online at Amazon. Based in Chicago, Zing Zang was founded in 1997 and now sells its products at 300,000 retail and on-premise locations in the US. It claims to be America’s ‘best-selling Bloody Mary brand’ and also creates mixers for Margaritas, Piña Coladas and Daiquiris.
