Sipsmith releases ‘simple’ cocktail recipe book
Jared Brown, master distiller for Sipsmith, has penned a book of 100 gin cocktails made with only three ingredients.
Published by Mitchell Beazley, Sip is the first book from London distiller Sipsmith. It is said to contain recipes for a range of cocktails, from “summer sippers to winter warmers”. Brown said: “We have written Sip with the same mindset we had when we created our authentic London Dry gin recipe. It celebrates the beauty of simplicity and the fact that neither cocktails nor gin need to be over complicated. “With one uncompromisingly delicious gin, sippers simply need two other ingredients and they can make 100 different cocktails to suit all the sipping occasions one can possibly imagine. “With a few simple tips and an array of common kitchen ingredients, we hope the book will inspire the same amount of people to enjoy making classic and new cocktails at home, as we inspired to enjoy sipping great gin.” Sip will be available as a hardback from 5 September at a price of £15.99 (US$19.50).
