American fashion store Harlem Haberdashery has moved into the spirits world with the launch of the HH Bespoke Spirits Collection.

The family behind the New York fashion boutique, which has created looks for a number of musicians and sports stars, has launched a spirits range that includes a gin, rum and vodka. Sharene Wood, president and CEO of Harlem Haberdashery and HH Bespoke Collection, said: “For 26 years and counting our family has created fashion experiences through our celebrity custom clothing business, 5001 FLAVORS, and our retail boutique, Harlem Haberdashery. “We are excited to present the HH Bespoke Collection to celebrate life fashionably with our curated spirits and be a part of celebratory and responsible lifestyle experiences for our consumers.” Harlem Haberdashery Bespoke Gin is said to be "a remix on a traditional London Dry style gin". The gin has a moderate juniper flavour alongside a number of American botanicals, including lavender, rosehip, beach plum and cranberry. The brand's rum is a blend that has been aged in both new American oak casks and first-fill Bourbon barrels, which is said to create a spirit that is "complex in flavour, with hints of butterscotch and vanilla”. Finally, Harlem Haberdashery Bespoke Vodka is a triple-distilled vodka made from locally-sourced potatoes that has a "crisp and clean" flavour. Each spirit is bottled at 40% abv and is available in select retailers across California, Massachusetts and New York carrying an RRP of US$55 per 750ml bottle.
