Irish gin brand Jawbox has released its first ready-to-drink (RTD) cocktail range.The canned range is available in two flavours: Jawbox Small Batch Gin & Ginger Ale and Pineapple Gin Liqueur & Ginger Ale. Gerry White, founder of Jawbox, said: “With the RTD category booming and Jawbox consumers looking for their favourite gin to enjoy on-the-go, especially in recent times where socialising outside has become the norm, it felt like the perfect time to launch the brand into the RTD category. “We have chosen the serves we know our customers enjoy most and have skilfully crafted the pre-mix to ensure the highest quality our customers expect.” Both 250ml canned cocktails sit at an ABV of 5%, and can be purchased for RRP £2 (US$2.79) each. The range is available online to UK consumers through Amazon, and in major supermarkets in Northern Ireland including Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Asda. The RTDs will be rolled out across the wider off-trade in the near future. In 2018, Jawbox launched #ThePerfectSwerve campaign to promote its signature Gin & Ginger Ale serve. The brand is distributed by Kirker Greer Spirits, which recently expanded its global presence by launching in Germany and the Netherlands.
