Hayman’s brings back classic Gin Liqueur

London distiller Hayman’s has relaunched its Gin Liqueur as a limited edition “for people who enjoy the taste of gin”.

Hayman’s Gin Liqueur, which claims to be the first product of its kind, first launched in 2004. It is described as a “juniper-forward gin with the sweetness of a liqueur”, containing Hayman’s blend of 10 botanicals. “This is a liqueur for people who enjoy the taste of gin,” said James Hayman, co-owner of Hayman Distillers. “By adding just the right amount of sugar to our blend of 10 classic botanicals we’ve been able to capture all that wonderful gin character but layer in the underlying sweetness traditionally associated with a liqueur. “In many ways this is the perfect summer drink. Wonderfully smooth, the high bottling strength [40% abv] and classically balanced botanicals make it perfect for enjoying neat over the rocks with a simple orange wedge garnish.” Just 6,000 bottles of Hayman’s Gin Liqueur have been created and will be available to buy from Hayman’s of London Distillery in south west London at an RRP of £39 (US$49.50). Hayman’s moved production of its gin from Essex back to London last year. The family firm first started distilling in the capital 150 years ago.
