Diageo launches RTD line
Ketel One owner Diageo has introduced a range of premium ready-to-drink (RTD) cocktails.
The Cocktail Collection is based around classic cocktails, including a Ketel One Vodka Espresso Martini, a Ketel One Vodka Cosmopolitan and a Tanqueray Gin Negroni. The new releases join Bulleit Bourbon’s bottled Manhattan and Old Fashioned cocktails, which launched last year. “The Cocktail Collection is here just in time to make holiday hosting even more memorable,” said Nikhil Shah, Diageo brand director. “Cocktail culture continues to flourish, so it’s only natural that consumers are looking to bring elevated drink experiences into their homes. “But making cocktails at home – and doing it well – can be challenging for the less experienced bartender. “The Cocktail Collection is here to alleviate those concerns with convenient, bar-quality cocktails from trusted brands, offering a wonderful new way to enjoy holiday celebrations together this year.” The range will be available across the US, with cocktails available in two sizes: 350ml (US$13.99) and 750ml (US$25.99), containing four and eight servings respectively. Earlier this year, Diageo reported double-digit net sales growth for fiscal 2023, driven by its Scotch and Tequila brands, although RTD growth was flat. The brand also created an Espresso Martini machine, which has been rolled out to bars across the US.
