Davna Bizon, a new Polish bison grass vodka is set to launch in the UK this week through Marblehead Brand Development.

The second product in the Davna vodka range, Davna Bizon is made to a traditional Polish recipe using bison grass from the last primeval forest in Europe in Eastern Poland. It joins the range alongside Davna Czeri, a Polish vodka launched in the UK last year that is flavoured with natural cherries. “The timing was right to launch Davna and bring a range of crafted premium brands to the UK," said Dave Steward, business development director at Marblehead.  “We’ve been working closely with our Master Distiller in Poland on Davna Bizon and have found that the best combination is 40% abv combined with a secret proportion of extract of bison grass." Steward also hinted at the prospect of further vodka launches in the Davna range in the near future. "We look forward to unearthing more Polish vodka treasures in the coming months and being able to introduce trade and consumers to different styles of Polish vodka and a range of flavours at the heart of their vodka renaissance,” he said. The launch is expected to go head to head with ex-Marblehead brand and now rival bison grass vodka Zubrowka, which joined UK distributor First Drinks portfolio earlier this month. Davna Bizon has an RRP of £17.99.
