Puerto Rican rum brand Bacardi has launched Coquito, a limited edition coconut cream liqueur.

Available in the US, Bacardi Coquito is made using the brand’s signature white rum mixed with toasted spices, coconut cream, vanilla, and cinnamon. Bacardi Coquito is bottled at 13% ABV and described as being a “creamy, festive libation that tastes like eggnog on a tropical vacation”. The rum brand's latest release is now available for a suggested retail price of US$17.99 per 750ml bottle through online retailer Drizly and at select grocery and liquor stores across the US. To celebrate the launch of the limited edition bottling, Bacardi partnered with New York bakery Brooklyn Cupcake to create a Coquito Cupcake. Infused with Bacardi Coquito, the rum-inspired cupcake is available to purchase across the US via goldbelly.com. Last month, the Puerto Rican rum brand teamed up with UK bar chain Revolución de Cuba to launch a limited edition three-year-old blended rum. Family-owned Bacardi also recently acquired American whiskey and vodka producer Stillhouse Spirits for an undisclosed sum.
